A Mega Partnership
By 2050 the Bay Area of California will grow by 50% to over 21 million people. What an amazing opportunity for the Kingdom of God. Growing Healthy Churches is investing in playing our part to ensure the local church is strategically placed to be missionally effective in this emerging mega region. But we are doing it differently. We are partnering with a church from Kenya, Africa – Nairobi Chapel.
Who is Nairobi Chapel?
Nairobi Chapel is an exciting church convinced that the next wave of God moving will be through the African church. As we listen to their story and see the many things happening through them we are a thrilled that they are eager to join with GHC in seeing churches planted and revitalization around the Bay Area and beyond.
What is our role?
Our role is to come behind Nairobi Chapel and help them as they bring their leadership to see new things happen.
How to Help?
We are learning from Nairobi Chapel that there can never be too much prayer from prayer walks to prayer summits to periods of fasting you can be involved as individual a family a church a small group or as an entire congregation

Join the team of global church planters being mobilized by Nairobi Chapel and GHC. Spend time at the Leadership School in Nairobi Chapel learning new global strategies for effective church leading and then head out into the world and plant or revitalize churches.
Become a part of the revitalization and planting team based out of Pathway Community Church, Fremont. Under the mentorship of David & BG Bawks from Nairobi Chapel and the global team of Nairobi Chapel and GHC join in. Commit to short-term help or longer.
As our partnership expands we look forward to many staff and friends coming from Nairobi and elsewhere to help what is happening in the Bay Area. Help this happen by becoming a host home for our global partners.
Joining with pastors and friends from Nairobi Chapel along with other experts in the field of church planting and revitalization there will be many learning communities and gatherings as we figure out church in the expanding Bay Area and beyond in this third millennium.
